Hot Diggity Dog!

An ode to the Chicago hot dog, this piece is inspired by a personal favorite, Portillos. Mustard, relish, celery salt, freshly chopped onions, sliced red ripe tomatoes, and sport peppers piled onto a steamed poppy seed bun. It is both a personal homage to the hot dog and a broader celebration of Chicago's distinctive culinary take on an American classic.
