Throughout my Flora work, I explore the quiet rebellion of houseplants – the resilient life forms that thrive in the margins of our domestic spaces. These pieces serve as both scientific documentation and emotional testament to the overlooked corners where nature asserts itself within our carefully constructed environments, inspired by the forgotten houseplants of my own that survived without me.
The Carinara Project
Inspired by my “Sauces in Bloom” series, the Carinara project features a carrot-based pasta sauce and it’s tasty variations. Based in Omaha, Nebraska, Humbl Roots is dedicated to reimagining comfort foods for those with dietary sensitivities, creating flavorful alternatives that everyone can enjoy.
